CIS of Puyallup recognizes the holidays can cause an additional financial burden for many local families, especially considering how school closures can limit food accessibility. To empower families experiencing financial stress and food insecurity over the holiday breaks, CIS of Puyallup will launch a two-prong Holiday Help campaign to collect gifts and provide food for consumption while the schools are closed.

Want to get involved? Here are a few ways you can help:

  • Make a donation! We fulfill a diverse number of needs during the holidays and your financial support will go a long way in helping us empower our students and families. Visit cispuyallup.org to make your gift!
  • Empower families experiencing financial stress and food insecurity over the holiday breaks by hosting a food drive to collect nonperishable goods to contribute to our families’ holiday meals.
  • Consider hosting a giving tree to fulfill our student’s wish lists! Your employees and/or customers will purchase gifts based on specifications from students, including sizes, favorite colors, characters, interests, etc., and return them to your organization for distribution via CIS.
  • You can also sponsor a family! CIS will connect you with a family’s wish list and/or grocery list for you to fulfill and CIS will deliver the items on your behalf.
  • Your generosity can also extend to our educators! Consider sponsoring a classroom to help fulfill teachers’ everyday needs. We will connect you to a teacher’s wish list for you to fulfill and CIS will deliver the items on your behalf.
