At the Puyallup School District’s Board Meeting on October 8, 2013, we had the privilege of thanking some of the donors, whose exceptional generosity made our 2013 School Supply Drive such a success. At the beginning of the year, the Board of Directors of Communities In Schools of Puyallup set the ambitious goal of raising 3,000 pounds of school supplies to support at-risk students. The final weigh-in showed a record 3,741 pounds! This would not have been possible without the hard work of numerous community partners, whose generosity exceeded all expectations. Representatives of MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital, Costco, Emerald Ridge High School, and Red Canoe Credit Union were present to receive formal recognition and thanks from the Puyallup School District Board of Directors. For a complete list of our community partners, please see the Contributors Page of this website.
