One in four students in Pierce County faces food insecurity. At CIS of Puyallup, we partner with the community to ensure students have their basic needs met so they can focus on school and life.
While students can access snacks and food during the week at school, Backpack Buddies goes a step further by sending students home with the food they need over weekends and school breaks to ensure no child goes hungry.
